my latest lot of dyed doilies and linens, loving the colours.... I have made some thingies from this batch but can't show you yet, top secret stuff........
my lavender, I know I post every year about it, but truly each year it gets bigger and more spectacular looking.... hating to have to leave this bush behind!
harvested in my vintage enamel bowl, quite French looking don't you think??!!!
short and sweet post this time, a small miracle really, I always have so much to go on about!!!
anyway, am off to play with a power tool.... electric hedge trimmer.........
take care

p.s. Christmas is still much the same as my last post.... no that's not true, I got the tree and decorations out of the attic on Saturday..... they are still sitting up against the wall unopened......

Rachael, your bowl full of lavender looks gorgeous!!!
It's a crazy time of year, I know! Loving that Lavender. Yes it takes years to get a bush like that :)
I have about 12 or so three different varieties of Lavender along our chook run....It is a spectacular looking hedge and smells wonderful...Your harvest looks so pretty in the bowl.

we grew lavender in Georgia...i miss it! lovely...
I am loving the cushions! Yes I am a BIG lavender fan too :-)
Oh Rachael! I am so jealous! I have never been able to get lavender to grow in my yard here. I had it in my yard when I lived north of here and it thrived but it does not like the soil in this yard. Lucky you! I'll bet it smells heavenly!
Yes, the decorating can be overwhelming. But your lavender is absolutely divine! Can you take a tiny piece to transplant with you? I took a small piece of a Christmas cactus when my grandma died and still have it (although it is a house plant). I just love having it. A nice memory...
Blessings
