my lavender, I know I post every year about it, but truly each year it gets bigger and more spectacular looking.... hating to have to leave this bush behind!

short and sweet post this time, a small miracle really, I always have so much to go on about!!!
anyway, am off to play with a power tool.... electric hedge trimmer.........

p.s. Christmas is still much the same as my last post.... no that's not true, I got the tree and decorations out of the attic on Saturday..... they are still sitting up against the wall unopened......

It's a crazy time of year, I know! Loving that Lavender. Yes it takes years to get a bush like that :)
I have about 12 or so three different varieties of Lavender along our chook run....It is a spectacular looking hedge and smells wonderful...Your harvest looks so pretty in the bowl.

Oh Rachael! I am so jealous! I have never been able to get lavender to grow in my yard here. I had it in my yard when I lived north of here and it thrived but it does not like the soil in this yard. Lucky you! I'll bet it smells heavenly!
Yes, the decorating can be overwhelming. But your lavender is absolutely divine! Can you take a tiny piece to transplant with you? I took a small piece of a Christmas cactus when my grandma died and still have it (although it is a house plant). I just love having it. A nice memory...

OOOh,i do love your lavender,that is one ompressive bush!!! Until recently i had a very very shady garden,but we have just cut down some trees and voila!!!Sunny spots! So will plant some lovely lavender and daisys when i get back from holidays!!! I think the simpler the flower,the nicer the bunch!
