Traffic Stopper

I have been slowing the traffic down in our street as I have had the garage door up all day!

Actually I can't believe I am showing you this photo . . . again . . . totally embarrassing!!!!

Its worse than the last time I showed you a photo of our double car -less - ness garage.

So today I have been a busy little beaver in here, again . . . tidying, sorting, planning, throwing out . . .

a compromise is in the air, one side for one car, one side for me, just have to empty it . . .

bye for now

I love this! We don't have a garage but a large basement and an attick and believe me; I know this situation! Remember you are not alone, though I keep the doors shut!! Good luck!

Hey Rahael thats how my youngest son's room looked up until today! He seemed to loose ONE toy over the holidays & decided to empty everything in his room trying to find it! Nearly finished the clean up, think I might move him out to the garage!

Have a great night

It looks like a treasure hunt to me! You should see MY garage. We too have cars sitting OUTSIDE of the garage {in the harsh winter weather, I might add!}. Good Luck!

My basement is beginning to look like this now that we have cleaned out the baby's room which was previously the catch all area!

Hi Rachael!!!

It feels like forever since I've been able to go around visiting bloggy friends! It is so nice to catch up and see all the things you've been up to!

That looks like a garage full of priceless treasures! I was working on a closet today and ended up putting away half the things I had pulled out and piled up to donate. Now the closet looks....just about the same LOL!!!

You are going to love Mod Podge. That stuff is awesome! Happy creating!

If you ever decide to have a Garage Sale please let me know, the trip over from Australia would be well worth while I think!

oooh Rachael! wow wish I was there I could help you get through it, that's almost a winter project...

So it isn't just a USA cultural-thing to fill your garage with "stuff" instead of cars? Good to know!

I swore I wasn't going to do this-- that I would actually leave room for my car in my garage so I would have shelter for my car in things like tropical storms and Cat 1 hurricanes. But since moving into my house I haven't gotten the boxes OUT of the garage yet! So my garage looks pretty much like this! I really have to do some unpacking!

oh rachael
you are too funny! When we had our garage before the house fire ours looked a lot like this we never used it for the cars

ps our garage was attached to the house and we solved the problem by turning it into a beautiful family room! ha

Ive just shown Mr Kitten your garage and he said 'OH DEAR GOD!' LOL! And this is from a man who hoards rubbish in a garage and several outbuildings!! Thanks so much for your comment about Pippin, I will be buying him some jumpers, but the snow where I live is deeper than he is tall so I may have to buy a bag to carry him about (Move over Paris Hilton) LOL!X

Mine is almost as bad- and we clean it out 2-4 times a year- but these last few months were a whirlwind! I need my oldest who works like I do, and needs art in her life like I do. We have fun together, and have a few jobs in the garage:) Lydia
